I don’t know whether to marry a beautiful girl I’m in love with or the rich widow I met at the seaside.
The former is so beautiful, sweet, polite, but coming from a modest family.
With a widow I’d be rich in an instant, and you know what great plans I have for the future. What do you advise me to do?”
The friend, without even thinking about it, replies: “
I would marry the girl, after all, love is the most important thing in life, the only thing that can make you happy”.
“Thanks man, you convinced me. Tomorrow I’m going to my girlfriend’s house and ask her to marry me.”
The second congratulates on the good news.
“Don’t wait, go to her immediately, but first, would you mind giving me the widow’s telephone number?”
