Husband and wife go to counseling

Husband and wife go to counseling1111

After thirty years of marriage, husband and wife turn to counseling.

When asked what the problem is, the wife launches into a tirade listing all the problems they had had over the years they had been married.

It goes on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable – a whole list of unmet needs she has endured.

Finally, after allowing this for a sufficient amount of time, the therapist stands up, walks around the desk, and,

after asking his wife to stand up, hugs and kisses her long and passionately while her husband watches with a raised eyebrow.

The woman is silent and sits silently as if stunned.

The therapist turns to the husband and says:

“This is what your wife needs at least three times a week. You can do it?”

“Well, I can leave it here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays I fish.”
