A good old boy from Alabama won a bass boat in a lottery drawing.
He brought it home and his wife looks at it and says, “
What are you going to do with it? There is no water deep enough to float a boat within 100 miles of here.
He says, “I have won it and I will keep it.”
His brother came to visit him several days later. He sees his wife and asks where is his brother?
He says, “He’s out there in his bass boat,” pointing to the field behind the house.
The brother goes out behind the house and sees his brother in the middle of a large field sitting on a bass boat with a fishing rod in his hand.
He shouts at him: “What are you doing?”
His brother replies, “I’m fishing. What does it look like that I’m doing?”
His brother yells, “It’s people like you who give the people of Alabama a bad name, making everyone think we’re stupid.
If I could swim, I’d come out there and whip your ass!
